Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using cycleflow.io and its associated services (the "Service"). It applies to all users, including free and paid account holders. By using the Service you agree to this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice. This AUP is incorporated into and should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited content

You must not publish or transmit content through the Service that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading
• Infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right
• Contains malware, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code
• Is obscene, sexually explicit, or exploitative of minors in any way
• Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group
• Constitutes spam, unsolicited bulk communications, or phishing
• Impersonates any person, company, or entity
• Violates the privacy of others (e.g. publishing personal data without consent)

2. Prohibited technical actions

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or load testing against the Service without our prior written consent
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, rate-limiting, or access-control features
• Use automated scripts or bots to scrape, extract, or mirror content from the Service at scale
• Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency or carry out computationally intensive tasks unrelated to the Service's intended purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Service
• Introduce anything that disrupts, degrades, or impairs the Service for other users

3. Email and subscriber usage

The email subscriber feature may only be used to send changelog notifications to subscribers who have explicitly opted in. You must not:

• Import or use purchased, rented, or scraped email lists
• Send emails promoting products or services unrelated to your changelog
• Ignore or delay processing unsubscribe requests
• Use subscriber data for any purpose other than sending notifications through the Service

Misuse of the email feature may result in immediate account suspension and may expose you to liability under CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and equivalent laws.

4. Account usage

• Each account is for the use of a single individual or organisation. You may not share login credentials with others outside your organisation.
• You may not create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.
• You may not resell, sublicense, or white-label access to the Service without our prior written agreement.

5. Legal compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, KVKK), email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL), and any sector-specific requirements that apply to your business.

6. Reporting violations

If you become aware of content or activity on the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@cycleflow.io. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take any of the following actions at our sole discretion:

• Issue a warning
• Remove or disable access to offending content
• Suspend or permanently terminate the account
• Report the activity to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities

We are not obligated to provide notice before taking action where we determine that a violation is serious or ongoing.

8. Changes to this AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
