Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cycleflow.io and its associated services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by CycleFlow ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cycleflow.io if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing
- Distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited commercial communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written consent
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written approval
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of all changelog entries and other content you create ("Your Content"). By publishing content through the Service you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Content.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. We do not pre-screen content but may remove it if we determine it violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. Subscriber data
If you collect email subscribers through the Service, you represent that you have obtained the necessary consent from those subscribers to send them email notifications. You agree to honour unsubscribe requests promptly. You may not use the subscriber list for any purpose other than sending changelog notifications through the Service.
6. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices are listed on the pricing page and are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time.
Refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge at support@cycleflow.io and we will review your case.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
7. Free plan and trial limitations
Features available on the free plan may be changed or removed at any time. We may introduce, modify, or discontinue trial periods at our discretion. We are not liable for any loss resulting from changes to free or trial tiers.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and all content we create, is owned by CycleFlow and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party services such as GitHub and Stripe. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for any acts or omissions of third-party providers.
10. Uptime and availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure failures, or events outside our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability of the Service.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CycleFlow and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CycleFlow and its officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CycleFlow is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For users in the EEA or UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
