DMCA & Copyright

Last updated: May 26, 2025

CycleFlow respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to report content that you believe infringes your copyright, and how account holders can respond to such reports.

Reporting copyright infringement (takedown notice)

If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act on behalf of one) and believe that content published through CycleFlow infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or applicable copyright law. Your notice must include all of the following:

  • Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The URL or other information sufficient to identify the infringing material on CycleFlow
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Send your notice to: dmca@cycleflow.io

We will process valid notices promptly. If the notice is complete, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the account holder.

Warning: Submitting a false or bad-faith takedown notice may expose you to legal liability, including claims for damages and legal fees.

Counter-notice (if your content was removed)

If you believe your content was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which CycleFlow may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Send your counter-notice to: dmca@cycleflow.io

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward a copy to the original complainant and may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant notifies us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

CycleFlow has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

Non-US users

While the DMCA is a US law, we apply the same takedown process for copyright complaints from users in all jurisdictions, including those covered by the EU Copyright Directive, UK copyright law, and equivalent frameworks. If you are outside the US, you may still submit a notice using the format described above.

Other intellectual property concerns

For trademark infringement or other intellectual property concerns not covered by the copyright process above, email legal@cycleflow.io with a description of the issue.
